Hi friends!

I’m Chantal – welcome to my site!

Looking for a way to build new habits and eliminate bad habits? Want to use habit tracker printables?

This is for you!

For a frame of reference, I’m a mom of two as well as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

I love food, fitness, and I absolutely love sharing what I’ve learned with people here on my blog.

My online nutrition course for women is now OPEN!

That should give you a little bit of insight about what’s important to me and my daily routine, but don’t be fooled – it wasn’t always that way!

Truthfully, I struggled really badly with healthy food & fitness habits (I still do sometimes) for years and years before getting better at sticking to my goals.

I so wish I’d had these free printable habit tracker templates back then!

I didn’t play sports growing up and fitness was just NOT a thing in my family. That made my first several years as an adult and mom a little rough health-wise, but I’m grateful for what I have learned.

Now I’m better at setting great, achievable goals that push me but that are actually attainable.

I’ve learned so much in my 5+ years as a personal trainer, but at the end of the day, it comes down to a few simple ideas.

The first thing that comes to mind is this: the key to creating good habits is staying accountable for them!

That’s why I made these free habit tracker printables – to help you build new healthy habits!

Actually, there are four habit tracker printables. I’m an over-achiever. 🙂

Killing “bad” habits and building new ones is hard, I get it! It has taken me actual YEARS to build some of the habits I have now.

I only wish I’d had a better way to build new habits when I got started!

But that’s okay as long as I’m making progress. 🙂 Good things really do take time.

Free Habit Tracker Printables For Everyone

We are humans and that means that every goal we set is a journey of ups and downs.

We all have wins and setbacks, and we all have to keep learning from our mistakes in order to make progress.

I have learned a lot about accountability and setting realistic expectations for myself since jumping into the world of fitness and nutrition, so the advice I share with you now is for anyone and everyone.

I promise I’ll get to the printable habit tracker PDF in a sec!

Why you need these free habit tracker printables

Why should you use a daily habit tracker? Is it really a great way to get results?

It’s all in the details when it comes to better habits!

That being said, I want to share a few simple tips I’ve picked up on my own journey.

First, your goals should be lofty enough to challenge you but not too lofty to actually achieve. In other words, be conservative and realistic!

Secondly, accountability is everything. If you really want to hit your goals, you need to practice accountability.

Not just for a few days, but for an entire year or more!

How else are you going to know what works and what doesn’t?

Third, it can be incredibly helpful to break down your goals into bite-sized chunks for your specific habits. Like wayyyy down.

(That’s where this habit tracker printable comes in.)

Let’s say, for example, that you want to lose 50 pounds in one year.

If I were to go about breaking this goal into smaller chunks, I would say, okay, “How much weight do I need to lose each month to achieve this?”

50 divided by 12 = 4.16 pounds

In order to achieve this goal (which I think is a realistic one for many people), I would need to lose 4.16 pounds per month!

To break it down even further, I could do it by weekly amounts, too! I highly recommend doing this.

50 pounds divided by 52 weeks in a year = .96 lbs per week!

When we see our goals divided up into tiny little milestones, they become easier to reach!

If we focus on those tiny goals one week at a time instead of an entire month or year, they become much less overwhelming.

After that, we can utilize habit tracking to address the actual action steps we need to take to reach that goal. (Like exercising, drinking more water, etc.)

Hopefully you get the idea!

So the goal with this free habit tracker printable is to help you “chop up” your goals into bite-sized mini goals.

Use mini habit trackers like these to break it down and really see positive change!

This will help you take things day-by-day instead of getting overwhelmed by the end goal.

And of course, this will help you stay accountable. (Which also protects your mindset and motivation.)

All of these strategies will improve the longevity of whatever it is you’re working on – just trust me!

Needless to say, weight loss isn’t the only thing that you might want to track.

You may not even be tracking health-related things with these free habit tracker printables!

We know that just focusing on the number on the scale isn’t always the healthiest way to improve your fitness when it comes to mental and emotional health, so consider other habit tracker ideas as well!

Your other daily habits and new routines matter too!

I personally use these for learning and work-related habits, too. (Like reading for 20 minutes a day and writing for 30 minutes daily.)

Obviously you can use these printables for whatever you need, but here are some ideas if you’re using them for fitness-related goals.
