15 Fun Things To Do Over The Weekend To Recharge
Looking for fun things to do over the weekend to recharge? Here is a list of 15 fun weekend activities to try!

Hey there!
I’m Chantal.
Welcome to my website. 🙂 I’m glad you’re here!
I don’t know about you, but for me, it can be hard to find the time to wind down and relax during the week. (Between work and mom duties, it’s nearly impossible!)
For me, that makes it extra important to find ways to relax and recharge over the weekend.
If I don’t use that short break to refill my cup somehow, I find that it totally messes with the next busy week of school, work, sports, or whatever else is happening in my life.
That’s especially true for me now more than ever, because I am currently adjusting to a new job after many years of being a stay-at-home parent.
The transition to any new situation is hard, but I’m finding that the hardest part is having to rearrange my whole schedule according to my new work schedule.
Luckily, I’m now through the first few weeks of my new job (you know, those weeks that usually entail complete mental exhaustion) and am now trying to piece together a new normal that includes all of the things I used to do but dropped the ball on while I was adjusting.
I’m struggling with moving all of the stuff I used to have plenty of time for to new time slots – like my time to work out, read, and work on this blog – in a way that makes sense.
My days are so jam-packed right now that sometimes, I have no idea how I’m supposed to do fun things over the weekend. So many of my neglected activities (I’m looking at you, dirty kitchen floor) are getting pushed to the weekend.

That being said, I know that unless I want to hit burnout soon, I need to prioritize these fun things to do over the weekend to recharge.
Can you relate?
Excuse me for venting a bit, but I did start this blog as sort of an online journal, after all.
(I then became a personal trainer and nutrition coach, but that’s a story for another time!)
Anyway, I am old enough to know that I absolutely need to find fun ways to unwind over the weekend unless I want to crash and burn, and I think you’re here because you are smart enough to know that’s true for you, too.
So – enough about me and my very common adult problems. Let’s talk about fun things to do this weekend to unwind and recharge!
